Fatal shooting woman was mum and teacher

A woman gunned down on Saturday morning while out celebrating her 24th birthday had a young son and loved her work as a nursery teacher, her family said today.

Sabrina Moss, of Neasden, north-west London, died after being caught up in the double shooting at 4.12am.

Police said that she and her friends were simply "in the wrong place at the wrong time."

Her grieving parents issued a statement today describing their devastation at a "horrific incident" that had changed their lives forever.

"She cherished working as a nursery teacher and treasured working with the children, who undoubtedly will miss her dearly," they said.

"We urge anyone with any information to contact the police to help catch those responsible."

The cause of Ms Moss's death was confirmed as a gunshot wound to the chest.
